I took this video demonstration of the Smooth Fitness 5.65 treadmill during my recent visit to the Smooth corporate headquarters. Giving the demo is Jim Mugford, Director of Quality Control and Account Management.

The Smooth 5.65 is the entry level treadmill by Smooth. Like previous versions, Smooth offers a good value at the $999 price range. It is a low maintenance machine with a good service record to date — solid and durable.

Note: On the 2011 model you get a longer 60" walking surface, an extended 4-year parts warranty, 39 workout programs and an improved sound system.
