For $400 you are getting a treadmill built for occasional light use. But Weslo treadmills are very popular for people who don't want to dish out alot of money for a potential clothes hanger.

The Weslo C44 has a very narrow belt. It is like walking on an I-beam. And with a 47" long belt, you will feel like you are about to run off. Particularly if you are over 5'8"/

The motor is very small and will strain at higher speeds and with heavier individuals.

Our Review - Weslo C44 Treadmill

This is a light weight treadmill that is not that durable or stable. I am sure there are countless customers who have bought this machine and are satisifed, but I suggest the buyer beware.

This treadmill has a very very small walking area and a tiny motor. Take a tape measure and measure 16", it isn't very wide, is it?

This is a Icon treadmill, which also builds Image, Proform, Reebok and Nordic Track. If you have a limited budget you may want to consider one of the higher priced ProForm treadmills.

If you are sold on Weslo we highly recommend that you get an extended warranty. Furthermore, this treadmill should only be used for walking and for individuals under 200 lbs.
