Weslo CR12 Treadmill $ 299.00

For around $300 you are getting a treadmill built for occasional light use. But Weslo treadmills are very popular for people who don't want to dish out alot of money for a potential clothes hanger. The Weslo CR12 has a very narrow and short belt. If you are over 5'8" you may want to consider a model with a longer belt.

This is a Icon treadmill, which also builds Image, Proform, Reebok and Nordic Track. We may suggest you check out the Image 16.0Q. It is a bit more, but tends to be rated the best of the budget treadmills.

Our Review - Weslo CR12

This is not a quality treadmill. It has a very small walking area. This is more a toy then a serious treadmill. It is not built to last.

We believe if you want quality you should start at about $1,000. The warranty often reflects the quality of the treadmill. For a good alternative walking treadmill check out the Smooth 5.65 treadmill. It comes with a 10 year motor warranty and a 1 year of service. This is the upgrade to the popular Smooth 5.15. It has a 20" wide belt.

If you are sold on Weslo we highly recommend that you get an extended warranty.
