Note: the Spirit SL218 is no longer available. Spirit has a reputation for building a good solid treadmill. Unfortunately they recently have converted all of their manufacturing overseas and their new treadmill are unproven. Experience with other manufacturers that have moved the production overseas often results in poor quality control. I would give it a year to see how the new designs prove themselves.
