The ProForm CrossWalk 385x offers both a cardio and resistance workout. ProTech™ cushioning eases joint stress, while the Competitor Control Panel gives instant feedback on time, speed, distance, calories burned, etc. This treadmill is built for only walking and the 16" x 45" treadbelt is rather small, but what do you expect for less then $500.

Our Review - Crosswalk 385

This is not a quality treadmill. It has a very small walking service. We believe if you want quality you should start at about $1,000. The warranty often reflects the quality of the treadmill. For a good walking treadmill check out the Smooth 5.15 and 5.0, or the Spirit SL228. They all come with 10 year motor warranty and 1 year service.

Regarding the handlebars for upper body workout, we suggest that an elliptical trainer is much better suited for a totally body work.
