As with most Proform Treadmill you get numerous features for a bargain. For the price you would think they could include a larger motor. They throw in hand weights which normally cost just a few bucks. It does have a good size belt and you would be hard pressed to fine a comparable size belt in this price range. We would recommend you get the extended warranty.

With a 90 day warranty you have to be cautious about purchasing this treadmill. If you have to have one we suggest that the extended warrany is a must. Our position with ProForm is that is has some interesting features, but you want to make sure you purchase a treadmill that will last.

You may want to consider some other models. For a good walking treadmill check out the Smooth 5.15 and 5.0, or the Spirit SL228. They all come with 10 year motor warranty and 1 year service. The Smooth models have 2.5 continuous duty motors. Although their treadbelts are only 18"
