The NordicTrack T5.7 treadmill is their entry model, and for a budget treadmill it has some decent features that makes it a good value. However, it is important to realize that as a budget treadmill this model has some limitations and will not be adequate for all users. For example, they place the user weight limit of the NordicTrack T5.7 at 325 lbs. Like most treadmill manufacturers, I feel they overstate the limit. I would put it around 240 lbs. Furthermore, this treadmill is primarily designed for walkers, although you probably could get away with doing light jogging on this machine.

NordicTrack T5.7 Treadmill Features...
2.5 Continuous Duty HP Motor — Once again, this is a motor designed for walking and jogging. It would probably strain from the higher speeds of running and from excessively heavy users.
20" x 55" Treadbelt — An average treadbelt length at this price range. Taller individuals who jog may feel restrained by the 55" length.
Shock Absorption — Unlike treadmills that are designed for runners, you will find the shock absorption more forgiving. The NordicTrack T5.7 treadmill comes with their DualShox cushioning. You get two rubber grommets on both sides of the deck. With their higher priced machine your get four rubber grommets per side, which makes it better for runners and joggers. Overall the shock absorption is decent for a budget treadmill.
iFit Live Compatible — For an extra cost you can purchase a module that allows your treadmill to communicate with the Internet. By going to iFit.com you can define your fitness goals and get customized workout routines by popular personal trainers like Jillian Michaels. The workout program is progressive and includes audio coaching. After each workout your results are fed back to your iFit.com account, allowing you to track your results and view your progress.
You can also track routes on Google Maps and the T5.7 treadmill with simulate the terrain by adjusting the incline. With the use of a laptop, smartphone or tablet you can view your progress as you run. I have used this feature and was able to trace routes down my neighborhood streets. With my laptop I was able to see familiar sites in the area, while the treadmill incline adjusted to the hilly terrain.
20 Pre-Installed Workout Programs — You get a decent selections of workout apps that focus on different fitness goals. For example, some target calories burning, while others focus on time goals.
Speakers and MP3 Input — Most treadmills include speakers and the ability to plug-in your MP3 player. However, not all speaker systems are comparable. The NordicTrack T5.7 treadmill has one of the better sound systems on a budget treadmill.
Warranty — 25 years motor, 1 year parts and labor. About average at this price range. Although some competitively priced treadmills may only have 6 months parts and labor.
Our Review — NordicTrack T5.7 Treadmill
As mentioned the NordicTrack T5.7 treadmill has limitations like any budget treadmill. So if your fitness profile fits into those limitations this may be a good buy. Overall, I would say when priced at $600 the NordicTrack T5.7 treadmill is one of the best buys at this price range.
