E 4400At
this price range NordicTrack has some serious competition, including Smooth, Sole,
Spirit and PaceMaster. All offer larger motors and better warranties. Some even
include wireless heart rate control. When
you match up the specs on this models it just doesn't hold up to others. And you
can't try to make it sound like a better value by hyping up typical features with
patented names like Solaris Illumination Console, Reflex Deck Technology
and AutoBreeze Fans. Give me a break, it's just a cheap $5 fan.
NordicTrack
E 4400 WarrantyFor
the price NordicTrack could have done better with their warranty. Although the
lifetime warranty on the motor is impressive, the one year parts and labor is
below average at this price range. You'll find the comparable Sole
F80 treadmill comes with a five year parts and two year labor warranty. Our
Review - E 4400 Treadmill We
agree with the Doc and conclude that this treadmill is overpriced. Which surprises
us because in general Icon builds treadmills that have more features for less
money. The
original NordicTrack company went out of business and Icon bought the rights to
the name. Icon sells ProForm, Reebok, Weslo, Image and more. They dominate the
low end market with bulky treadmill and slick features at the sacrifice of the
important components like motors, lower boards and belts. The NordicTrack is their
high-end treadmills with extended warranties. Customer

stars out of 5 by one reviewer. Comments Pros:
belt cushioning system; engine; fans; quality & workmanship Cons:
unimaginative programming; curcuitry for heartbeat sensors has to be bought and
installed extra The
Bottom Line: Excellent
hardware, badly utilized. Could have been so much more ... However: in the end
my knees say my next treadmill will again be a NordicTrack. Also
