Our
Review This
is a bargain basement treadmill. For the price you get a sizable treadmill with
some interesting features, but do not expect this treadmill to stand up to heavy
duty regular use. But if you have less then $500 to spend this is probably your
best bet. The
Image brand is another Icon treadmill. They sell ProForm, Reebok, Weslo, NordicTrack
and more. They dominate the low end market with bulky treadmill and slick features
at the sacrifice of the important components like motors, lower boards and belts.
That is why they have a 90 day warranty.
We
believe if you want quality you should start at about $1,000. For a good walking
treadmill check out the Smooth
5.65 or the Sole
F63.
Customer
Comment: I used it about 20 times for 30 minutes,
got ready to use it and all the lights were lit, and it was making a buzzing sound.
Called to see about the warranty repair, they told me the warranty had past, and
that it would be about $200 for the repair, I only paid $400, and barely used
it! Michael
I have owned my Proform Image 10.0 for
over two years and have never had a single problem with it. It is smooth and easy
on the knees even at a running pace. I love the preprogrammed workouts and being
able to see how many miles and calories I have burned. It's like anything else
you buy I guess, there will always be defects at some point or another. However,
my proform is still going strong and is used on a weekly basis by myself and my
teenage boys that are 6ft plus tall.
