The
Epic T40 is a monster of a treadmill with a television. In the next
year or so you can expect many more treadmill manufacturers to come
out with models that have TVs. Heck it gets boring running in place,
so most people need some type of distraction.
They
describe this treadmill as commercial quality. Being a Icon product
we are a bit leary of any of their treadmills being up to commercial
standards. Many treadmills make that claim for home units, but in
reality there is no way they could holed up to 5 - 10 hours of use
a day. Below are the specs on T40:
The
Epic T40 offers a flat screen LCD TV . With 15 preset programs,
a fitness test program and heart rate driven programs to vary your
workout, youll get some variety and challenges. We're surprised
that this treadmill doesn't have the Icon Ifit.

Treadmill Ratings and Reviews Comments on the Epic T40
The
T40 Treadmill has a hefty motor, if that is the actually specs.
It has a generous deck. The 3.5" rollers are the biggest in
the industry and should reduce stress on the motor, extending it's
life. What is amazing is the weight at 543 lbs. This machine is
a tank. One year warranty on belt and deck is weak.
Our
only concern is Icon's reputation for using cheap parts. But they
may have been generous on this model.
At
this price range we suggest you also check out Landice,
the Smooth 9.25HR and 9.25X
and True treadmills.
