Weslo treadmills are the bargain brand from Icon Health and Fitness. In addition to Welso, Icon makes the Reebok, Weslo, Nordic Track and Image treadmills. Of all the treadmills built by Icon, Weslo is the lowest priced. Their treadmills range from manual models at $99 to motorized versions up to $449. (See individual Welso Treadmill Reviews)

These treadmills are not built for serious users. They are designed primarily for walking. The decks are small and the motors have low horsepower, both peak and continuous. This is not a running machine and there are definite weight limits to these treadmills.

Their treadbelt sizes are very small starting with the Cadence C22 at 13" x 40". The Cadence C62 treadmill has a moderate treadbelt at 18" x 50". Not designed for anyone over 6'.

So you get what you pay for, but if you are uncertain if regular exercise is for you, and if you are concerned you will spend money for an overpriced clothes hanger, then you may want to try a Weslo treadmill. Our recommendation is if you can afford it go with a treadmill starting at the $1,000 range.

Quite often the extent of a warranty reflects the quality of the treadmill, and both Weslo and Weslo have the least extensive treadmill warranty. Weslo treadmills come with a 90 day limited warranty that covers defects, materials and workmanship. Warranty does not cover misuse, abuse or commercial use. For further coverage, extended warranties are also available. You'll see the option to add extended coverage during your checkout process. This should cost an additional $100 for a year coverage, but it would be recommended.

Weslo treadmills are built for casual use. This means infrequent walking. If you are looking for a treadmill for daily workouts and for running we suggest you consider Smooth or Sole. You will pay more, but probably less in the long terms.
