Reebok Treadmill Reviews

What Reebok treadmills have going for them is name recognition. The name suggests quality. However, the company that makes the treadmills has no affiliation with the shoe company. Reebok treadmills are built by Icon Fitness. The same company that builds Image, Proform, Welso, Epic and NordicTrack treadmills.

All these different brands are built at the same manufacturing facility, and many use the same parts. It is the configurations that distinguishes one from the other.

Note: You may also want to check out the NordicTrack models. They have a better selection, with a variety of innovative features. Also, when on sale, some of their treadmills are a better value.

Of the various Icon brands, Reebok and NordicTrack tend to offer higher end treadmills with improved construction, backed up with extended warranties. The price ranges between $799 - $2,000. The warranty is usually 1 years parts and labor. The motor warranties go up to lifetime coverage. (Warranties may vary. Check with the specific retailer for actual warranty).

Last summer I was out to Logan, UT and toured the Icon Fitness manufacturing facility. I talked to a number of VPs and Directors. My impression was NordicTrack and ProForm were the two Icon brands that were getting most of the attention. Their models seemed to be have the latest technology and innovations. They also seem to have some of the best prices.

Currently Icon has about 6 treadmill brands. I do not believe that Icon is putting too much emphasis on the Reebok brand. They currently are only offering 3 models, and unlike ProForm and NordicTrack, shipping is an additional charge.

We believe you can find better value with the other Icon brands. Here is an example. Currently the Reebok Vista is selling for $1,299 without shipping. You can get the very similar ProForm Perspective for $1,249 with shipping.

Great Treadmill - The Reebok Vista is a great home treamill. It folds up to save space. IT has a 7 in tv in it. It can connect to cable or a dvd player. I can watch movies, or Tv when walking or running. It can handle up to 255 pounds and its sturdy. I can run and it doesn't shake. It has a cooling fan, for the serious runner. The long belt is wide enough for my long legs. The sides have places to place a drink or telephone. I am happy with my purchase. IT also comes with a 25 year warrenty. The best part is the TV. I enjoy working out now. I may not have a built in dvd player or mp3 option. But Most of us can jog with ipods.
